Estaba en boca de todos, los eCommerce y las compras por internet serían el futuro, lo que no sabíamos es que lo serían tan rápido. Durante el 2021 hemos estado viviendo un boom en esta corriente, como consecuencia directa de la Covid-19. La crisis sanitaria provocada por el coronavirus ha propiciado que jóvenes y adultos compren más de forma online y, casi todo tipo de productos, obligando a los negocios a adaptarse. Por esta razón, hay que conocer las tendencias en eCommerce para el 2022.

Como decíamos, disponer de un área de comercio electrónico se ha vuelto indispensable para empresas que vendan productos y servicios. De hecho, actualmente una de las tendencias es que haya negocios que solo se encuentren en internet. Otros tantos, a pesar de disponer de establecimientos físicos, dedican una parte exclusiva de su stock al apartado online, potenciando las ventas por este canal. Pero, más allá de estos detalles, ¿Qué nos espera en 2022 en el mundo del eCommerce?
Monitorización de resultados
Las tecnologías de este panorama avanzan a un ritmo imparable, respondiendo y solucionando las diferentes necesidades que han ido surgiendo. Una de ellas está directamente relacionada con los resultados del funnel de ventas obtenido en lo que se conocen como canales de retail media. Hasta ahora estas cifras eran invisibles, no se podían saber, pero eso ha empezado a cambiar.
Amazon, como no podía ser de otro modo, ha sido el primero en empezar a ofrecer esta información a las marcas que trabajan con ellos. Se espera que se convierta en un habitual el poder acceder a los resultados más completos para el análisis, incluyendo el impacto de ventas, visitas o el retorno de la inversión. Siendo así, resultará más sencillo trazar una estrategia.
Venta directa al cliente
Venía pisando fuerte y ya es toda una realidad, los eCommerce han facilitado lo que se conoce como venta directa al consumidor (D2C). ¿Qué significa esto? Con el ascenso de los comercios electrónicos, muchas marcas han empezado a llevar a cabo procesos de venta directa al cliente, sin contar con intermediarios.
Este movimiento lo iniciaron proyectos como Hawkers, un ejemplo claro de que no hacen falta terceros para llegar al cliente final. Este modelo hoy es tendencia y se caracteriza no solo por vender un producto, también por sumarle un concepto o experiencia al mismo, para atractivo del consumidor. Para los eCommerce, si se consigue poder llevar a cabo este plan, trae consigo muchos beneficios como un acceso total a la información, mejores beneficios y un proceso de venta más ágil.
Importancia redes sociales
A priori, para nadie resulta novedosa la importancia de las redes sociales, sin embargo, su papel y la forma de vender en las mismas si que ha cambiado. Los eCommerce han dado más peso en sus estrategias a las ventas por redes sociales, lo que se conoce como Social Selling, ascendiendo a casi un 40% a raíz de la pandemia.
Las acciones también se han modificado de la mano de las últimas tendencias en redes sociales. A las campañas con influencers se les ha sumado el Live Shopping, que responde al ascenso en cuanto a popularidad del streaming. Este último consiste en la promoción en vivo y en directo por parte de figuras influyentes en plataformas como Twitch.
Ventas más sostenibles
La sostenibilidad y mantener una responsabilidad con respecto a ella, ha pasado a ser una obligación para las empresas. El consumidor de eCommerce valora y exige cada vez más que los negocios en los que compre tengan un proceso de fabricación y envío sostenible. Este tipo de actividades podrían basarse en eliminar el plástico del packaging, utilizar cadenas de reparto sostenibles, además de utilizar materiales reciclados o ecológicos.
La evolución de esta tendencia ha llevado a la sostenibilidad de ser un apartado opcional, un punto a favor, a terminar siendo prácticamente una obligación. De hecho, hemos visto como plataformas como Shopify han empezado a recompensar a aquellos negocios con emisiones más bajas. En consecuencia, podemos decir que los procesos de fabricación y entrega sostenible tendrán un protagonismo especial en 2022.
Metaverso X eCommerce
Por último, en la recta final de 2021 hemos sido conscientes de uno de los cambios tecnológicos más importantes de los últimos tiempos, el metaverso. Facebook, con su cambio de nombre a Meta, ha sido el propulsor de este movimiento, proporcionando un nuevo espacio en el que las empresas podrán anunciarse y donde se mejorará la experiencia del consumidor.
Evidentemente, este hecho afecta directamente a los eCommerce y en consecuencia algunas marcas, como Nike o Puma, ya cuentan con su propio metaverso. Para entendernos mejor, se tratan de stands virtuales. Su fin es comprar para nosotros, pero el objetivo final será vestir a nuestro avatar virtual o decorar nuestro espacio en el metaverso. Actualmente, existen diferentes plataformas de realidad virtual, pero habrá que estar atentos porque se predice que habrá una que terminará predominando y ahí será cuando las marcas empiecen a hacer publicidad. No cabe duda, este será uno de los cambios más grandes de cara al 2022.
